Meet the Branch Officers of 2026-27, responsible for managing MKSAC on behalf of our members.
Chair

Steve Craddock
The role of our Chair is to offer leadership and direction for the committee. Responsible for facilitating our committee meetings, the Chair ensures the conversation remains goal focused and activities remain for the benefit of the whole club.
Secretary

Pete Matson
Our secretary is a key point of contact between the committee and club members. As part of this they are responsible for organising the Annual General Meeting, and writing the minutes of the committee meetings. They also oversee our communications with members from responding to email enquiries to requesting member feedback.
Treasurer

Paul Furlong
Responsible for ensuring the financial sustainability of the club, the role of Treasurer for Milton Keynes SAC is varied. It includes balancing the books, managing the club’s bank accounts, paying expenses, overseeing our insurances, managing budgets and supporting with fundraising.
Diving Officer

Graham Nurse
Responsible for all club diving activity, our Diving Officer ensures that our club upholds a high standard of safety throughout all of our diving practices, in accordance with the BSAC Safe Diving Guidelines. Diving Officers are also responsible for reporting on club dives, answering diver queries and responding to incidences should they arise.
Membership Secretary

Natalie Parkinson
The role of our membership officer is support with the growth and development of our club community. This includes introducing and onboarding new members and maintaining accurate records for every member of the club. It also includes ensuring that members have the appropriate medicals, BSAC membership and club membership when planning to dive or go on a trip.
Training Officer

Ian James
Training is one of Milton Keynes Sub Aqua Club’s priority areas of focus, which is overseen by our Training Officer. From organising Try Dives and running training days, to delivering BSAC training courses, our Training Officer is committed to ensuring that all members achieve their diving goals.
Welfare Officer

Mary McCormack
The Welfare Officer ensures that the club takes appropriate measures and has robust policies in place to support the wellbeing of club members, in particular younger members and vulnerable adults.

Equipment Officer

Jack Elliott
The Equipment Officer looks after club equipment, including our boat (RHIB) and our club compressor. This may include purchasing new kit, sending things of for servicing or repair, and monitoring who is hiring club equipment to go diving.

Sarah Cooper
General Committee Members attend meetings of the committee, sharing their views and voting on decisions that advance the interests of the club and its members. Sometimes they are assigned tasks or added to sub-committees led by one of the Branch Officers.
